Perpetual Racism

I agree with this author’s basic premise.  Racism will be an issue as long as government is in the race business.  Any policy that applies based on race, is weighted based on race or is designed and implemented based on ANY racial criteria perpetuates racism and is itself racist.

The media perpetuate race.  Collectivist pundits of all racial groups perpetuate racism.  Both of these stand to gain, politically, from such.  Balkanizing Americans by race helps the “progressive” leftists pursue victim politics that allow them to acquire and maintain power.  Rather than correctly formulating law and policy based on everyone being American, the Statists prefer setting groups (women, homosexuals, races) against each other so the government can “solve” the problems created and perpetuated by that same government.

The left would have us believe that racism is systemic, generational and ingrained in such a fashion that “fairness” can not be achieved without beneficent government action.  Black pundits from the left INSIST that blacks are victims of “institutional” and “pervasive” racism.  This is belied by any cursory examination of the culture.  Further, many of the collectivist black left propose that only “whites” are truly racist and capable of such.  Patent racism is displayed by this very premise.  Juxtapose these types of pundits against the author linked or others such as Doctors Sowell and Williams or Herman Caine.  These pundits espouse liberty, personal responsibility, family and achievement as the true method of being American.  Regardless of color.

Such opinions are denigrated as being “not really black” and other inane assertions.

There are racists of all races even today but it isn’t pervasive.  That’s because racism REQUIRES a comprehensive ignorance combined with bitterness and acquisitiveness (wanting that which belongs to others).  American Freedom must be based on BEING American, regardless of heritage, race, sex or sexual behavioral preferences.  Liberty is crushed by government “taking care of” anything.  Those who wish to be free must reject identity politics and statist “solutions” to ANYTHING.
