The Lie of Opposing Health Care Reform

It boggles the sensible mind that anyone can believe the ridiculous things Demoncrats say.

One of their current favorites is that “Republicans oppose health care reform”.  Opposing creation of a (another!) giant Federal bureaucracy and enormous costs in dollars that the government and people do not have isn’t “opposing health care reform”.  It is opposing unconstitutional big government.

Harry Reid (D – Nevada) even compares Republicans to those (Democrats) who supported slavery and opposed civil rights legislation.

This is a typical statist politicrat maneuver though.  Claim that opposition to a stupid, misguided and unconstitutional package of legislation is “opposition to health care reform”.

What the collectivist can’t countenance is that freedom loving thinking people support reforms that actually reform and don’t include the Federal Behemoth.  Reduce health care regulation, allow competitive nationwide insurance products, rein in unconscionable awards sought by trial lawyers and get government out of health care.

THAT is health care reform.  Given that you can be that Harry Reid and other socialists “oppose health care reform” too.
