Meet Me at the Gallows Oak!

November 8, 2009 – 12:26 pm

Here is what I just sent to my Congressman, on this, ‘the morning after’ the health care takeover passed the House:

Dear Congressman:

From what i can gather, the health insurance bill passed the House last night, and did so with your support.  I am heartily disappointed in you.  This bill, if it becomes law, as looks likely, will make a criminal out of me, as i will refuse to be bound by its’ provisions.  I will not certify that i carry insurance to any gov’t agency, and i will not pay any fine or tax levied upon me as a result.  Your action almost assures that at some point I will be an outlaw, subject to imprisonment for asserting my common law rights, codified under the Ninth Amendment, to answer to no man for how I conduct my personal affairs, as regards my and my family’s medical care.

I do not expect to be alone, however, and while the liars who took us to war in Iraq, and the bankster-thieves who looted our Treasury, both with bi-partisan support, go free to enjoy their ill-gotten wealth, the prison system will one day be overflowing with those of us who refuse to submit to acts, however well-intentioned they

may be, of tyranny.

The only question now is, given that the bill is likely to pass the senate and be signed into law, what course others may take.  I will not comply, and fully expect that there will come a day when there is a late-night knock on my door.  I recommend that all who oppose this unlawful power grab, especially those who have, as i have, taken an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic, consider whether or not you will submit.  I do not advocate violence, but I do advocate all forms of non-violent resistance that do not violate honor, morality, trust or conscience.  Consider your actions with urgency; the crisis is before us.
