Where is “Fairness” for Fathers?
September 21, 2009 – 7:20 amAs with any situation in life, one expects justice and fairness as well as equal protection under the law. This devastating case in Indiana shows the capricious nature of “civil” courts and laws. From child custody cases to “civil” cases where people are subject to double jeopardy after a criminal acquittal, the “civil law” in this country often mis-fires. Much of the problem is with Judges more interested in their socio-political agendas and lawyers more interested in making money than either is in justice, fairness or citizens’ rights.

One Response to “Where is “Fairness” for Fathers?”
Every society has its’ scapegoats and designated villains. In America today, fathers are one of those groups. The system is deliberately rigged to pillage them, and there is often not even a veneer of fairness or justice about it. It does not matter who is at fault, who does the leaving or why, or who is the better patent. All that matters is that Dad be made to pay – or else. You’re just a paycheck, and don’t you dare get sick, hurt or laid off. Having seen it myself in Michigan, I have concluded that “Friend of the Court” is a greater personal threat to me than the terrorism, because it claims more victims here annually.
