Could Barney Frank Be Right This Time

August 30, 2009 – 11:37 am

Yes, if he’s doing what Ron Paul tells him, as appears to be the case. Rep. Paul was practically alone in Congress over the years in warning of the Fed’s lack of oversight; now that we are in a Depression exacerbated by Fed policy blunders and possible insider dealing (who got how much TARP moolah and why…), a majority of the House has co-sponsored his “Audit the Fed” bill, and Rep. Frank, as Chair of the appropriate House Committee (Banking), plans action. The negotiated compromise, if it carries Rep. Paul’s stamp of approval, will be a first step to holding the previously unaccountable lords of the Fed up to scrutiny. It’s tool late to undo the damage our economy has already suffered, but it may help to save us from further financial harm.

It’s about time. Please call your Congressman and ask them to support this bill.

  2. Yes God bless Ron Paul but his inquest of the Federal reserve only ended in threats by the federal reserve, which is always the case.Lets, as Americans everyone of us stand up and say no to the government, no to the federal reserve with a constant million man march on D.C. The American people are guilty of inaction and have sentenced themselves to oppression and hard labor!Yes call your congressman for all the good it will do.Our government now is nothing more than a front for the elite. The saying “if you don’t stand for something you will fall for anything” has proven so true. Our government works it’s deceitful wizardry right before our eyes and we can not see it?Do you not know that the federal reserve has controlled this country since 1913 they now control the western world. The house of Rothschild and his band of thieves owns the western world.I think it is now too late to do anything
