Is it time to be disgusted with many of the American sheople?  This report on 1 dollar in 6 being a government handout really illustrates the dependency sickness propagated by the collectivist governcrats.

Shouldn’t the ideal be to NOT WANT anything from government?  As far as “checks and vouchers” I think this should certainly be the case.  I want the country defended.  I support quite a few local government programs not involved with disbursing money, less at the State level and nearly none from the Fed.  I do support veterans pensions although strong constitutional arguments could be made against that as well.

Look in the mirror, what to you “receive as a benefit” that originates from the pockets of your fellow citizens?  I’m happy to say *nothing* for myself.  Eliminating such disbursements would be the single most effective step in reducing the size of government as republicrats claim to want.  It would also help return government to its constitutionally enumerated responsibilities.
