June 1, 2009 – 1:30 pmDear Friends: Last summer, I was “embedded” with the PUMAs (Party Unity My Ass). There, I read about the Obamabot’s, and the cheating and bullying tactics they used to usurp the nomination. During that time, I became acquainted with HillBuzz, a group of alternative-life-sylers who adored Hillary. A harsher bunch of Obama critics do not exist, in my opinion. HillBuzz has hit a home-run today, which I think is mandatory reading for all of us interested in what is happening with America and the economy.

The Hill Buzz piece is, if anything, optomistic. I’d plan on inflation higher than in 1979-82, for sure, because even the fire sale of cars, property, etc., will not offset the torrent of money created since September, 2008. I’ve put my 401(k) heavily into REITs, gold, commodities, hard asets, and bluest of blue chips, along with foreign bonds. I hope I’m wrong, but I’d agree with what Ron Paul said recently – 15 years of depression, a la Japan, lie ahead.
