Zero Tolerance = Zero Brains
May 22, 2009 – 2:05 pmGovernment drones, like public school administrators, demonstrate no brains when applying the popular “zeron tolerance” policies. One hopes it is the minority of cases that make the news. Like a 60 day suspension for having “eyebrow trimmers“. Such stories abound and I suspect they are the rule rather than the exception.
Fortunately sensible people do oppose them. Another reason to refuse to patronize the public schools. If you can figure out a way, private or home schooling is much more likely to give your kids a good education and a somewhat sane worldview.

Bureaucrats can’t tell the difference between tools and weapons. My favorite example: reaming a girl for having the nerve to bring her fingernail trimming scissors to school. Gak!
How do schools deal with the necessary existence of utensil knives in the cafeteria and X-Acto knives in the art room?
Haven’t the foggiest.
