Why Isn’t This a ‘Hate Crime’?
May 28, 2009 – 7:40 pmSan Diego County officials are trying to stop a pastor and his wife from holding a 15-person Bible study in their home, and have threatened them with escalating fines. This is loopy enough to require no further comment, except to ask: If this was a Muslim cleric holding a prayer session, wouldn’t such an act be – justly – called a ‘hate crime’?
