Para el español, por favor pulse dos

I don’t oppose the annoyance however. Businesses are in business (despite what the Obamessiah says) to make money, to profit. To do this they must attract customers. To alienate the undeniably large customer base of hispanics in the U.S. would be a stupid business practice. Granted, many of the hispanics may be here illegally but that isn’t a concern of businesses providing customer service. Serving well and hopefully retaining customer base and market share is the ONLY concern of any sane and sensible business. Let businesses be free to do what they wish to serve their customers and make their businesses profitable.
If I was going to prohibit the use of spanish prompts it would be in PUBLIC (government) services. The U.S. is an English speaking country with and English speaking government. So go ahead and get rid of those prompts for government bureaucracies and many some of the immigrants will learn the language of the country they wish to adopt (or invade).

A small anectote; Walkin around Lowes (sumthin I enjoy doin when 24 isn’t on.) the other day, I saw a big tall display at the end of an aisle with several different models of a like product. Humiderfiers/dehumidifers or the like.(I think) I wanted to check it out cuz I once saw a stand alone AC unit that dosn’t go in a window that I thought I might consider purchasing and it looks similar.
From the three sides I could see up to around 15-20 feet high, not a SINGLE WORD of english on any of the boxes! I was freakin astounded! And not a little p#@sed off! I know I sometimes get more P#@sed off than most would think is apropriate (I’m workin on it). But still…!
