Crazy Colin

I’m glad the Elephants have had their Colinectomy.  Secretary Powell claims that Americans “want to pay taxes for services” and that the citizenry is “looking for more government in their life, not less“.

If that is true, oh boy what a lot of sheople there are.  I don’t believe it is true though.  I think General Powell has spent too much time in ivory towers and crystal palaces to understand mainstream working America.

Here is a report on Powell’s remarks to a software company’s executive summit.

2 things strike me.
1.  Powell has fit in his life both key demographics for being a collectivist/liberal
a. Being poor and expecting others to lift you out of it (read his biography)
b. Being wealthy/powerful enough that onerous government and taxes don’t hurt you so you can afford to give away other people’s money.
2. I think it is absolutely GREAT that collectivist RINO republicrats and statist/socialist “progressives” think that traditional American values and conservative originalist politics are “dead”.  It displays clearly the contempt they have for liberty and for the average American.  I don’t think, short of outright coercion, that the majority of American people will buy it for long.

Right or wrong on the analysis above, we MUST continue to fight for American Freedom for ALL citizens.

  2. “I knew Doris day before she was a virgin,” a Hollywood bigwig once said. Well, we knew Colin Powell before he became a virgin, too. He was Chief Whore for Bush ’43′s Iraq WMD lies, and now he wants redemption by trashing all things GOP. Not that he was ever a Republican; he was more a war liberal, like Holy Joe Lieberman. He threw his support for affirmative action and abortion rights in the face of the ’96 GOP convention, without being booed by the potted plants in attendance. Good riddance, I say. You’ll notice, too, that Pres. Obama gave him no job, as he knows a back stabber is not to be trusted…
