My Favorite Constitutional Amendment?
April 4, 2009 – 7:33 pmRight now, good old #22. There is a group wanting to repeal it: click here for an old-fashioned scare.
After less than 100 days of President O-drama, I feel that we have had 100 months of torture. It makes me long for 2012 in ways beyond my imagining last November — if, for no other reason, perhaps the apocalypse predicted by the Maya will spare us further drama via a torrent of solar flares and system collapses.
It is only at such a time that this story would be true.
And to this gem, I reply: Not all of us. Those who are sane will be at my special event next weekend.
I am going to pour myself a Bailey’s Irish Cream, now. I should have a stiffer drink, but it is about all I can handle.
One Response to “My Favorite Constitutional Amendment?”
Thank you, Mut, for your kind comment. I could wish for a catastrophe to spare us more of The Anointed One, but then I repeat myself. Can a catastrophe spare us from a catastrophe? Do we have the patience of Job? Will anyone have a J-O-B in 2012? I’m trying to make it all go away with Bavarian beer in Frankenmuth – that’s a stimulus package for you! Keep the faith, Mut – the Dark Ages are also the Age of Heroes.
