Disgusting Politicrat
April 9, 2009 – 8:55 pmAn example of the political sickness pervading our Country. A politician continues to attempt to co-opt the Tea Party Movement. Newt Gingrich is increasingly shameless. From the “partnering” we objected to previously he now just claims the movement for his American Solutions organization. The biggest irony and hypocrisy is his call to resist “cynical politicians”. He does claim to be “part of a coalition” of grassroots organizations. Many of those reject his assertion as is so eloquently done here. The Tea Party movement is a non-partisan, grassroots movement of concerned citizens. We aren’t interested in the failed politicrats of the past. We are interested in a return to Constitutional representative government, not padding someones money generating and power accumulating organization.

Thank you so much for inviting me to participate in a movement that I have been actively involved in since well before you expressed any interest in it. I will examine the “tool kit” you advertise from your organization. I also would like to thank you for warning me about cynical politicians Mr. Speaker.
Please rest assured that we, the grassroots activists involved in the Tea Party Movement will ABSOLUTELY resist the activities of cynical politicians. Particularly ones who attempt to co-opt the movement for their own personal or organizational gain.
As a final note, I’d like to note that your Washington office Press Secretary never delivered to me a promised statement on concerns I have expressed to your organization.
