REAL ID on Steroids

March 1, 2009 – 12:42 pm

RFID technology is coming to your drivers license – soon.  Michigan has one heroic state legislator who is asking questions, sounding the alarm – and getting nowhere.  Being identifiable by government (or corporate) spies without even being stopped or knowing that your license is being scanned is an ‘unreasonable search,’ under the Fourth Amendment.  That this may become law as a result of an administrative rule is Fabian totalitarianism.  Make no mistake about it, this is as close to The Mark of the Beast as you can get, without having a chip physically implanted in your forehead or right hand.  By comparison, taxation, overspending, and all the other pernicious policy coming out of D.C., as bad as it is, pales in comparison to this plot to imprision our persons in a virtually inescapable electronic prison.
Please let your state legislators and your Secretary of State that you oppose being stripped – literally – of your provacy and your Fourth Amendment rights.
