Memo To England: Please Accept My Apology

March 5, 2009 – 6:42 pm

For the President’s (and his First Lady’s) inexcusably boorish behavior to the Prime Minister.  (Granted, I’m no fan of Mr. Brown, but he’s your P.M., and his elevation is your business.)  We did not expect, in exercising the Hobson’s choice offered us at the polls last fall, that the man judged the lesser of two evils by a slight majority of those who bothered to vote, would so lack in common courtesy as to embarrass not your Prime Minister, but his hosts, and by extension, America.
Please accept my apology, and be patient with America, until we recover from this madness.
