More on Limbaugh at CPAC
February 28, 2009 – 10:06 pmReading the transcript of Limbaugh’s speech at CPAC today is worthwhile in my opinion. As stated earlier in a comment on Sally’s post, his shtick is tiresome to me. His observations and commentary however are absolutely spot on. I note that he doesn’t present to audiences that may be less adoring or in forums where he has to debate. He states core originalist positions. I’m going to watch Ron Paul later and do (at least in my own mind) a comparative analysis. I also have to prepare for a season of coaching, finish a major work project, set up new features on our network and have an editorial meeting. Oh yes, Church and work on unpacking in my new house. LOL!!!! Remember the basic inherent sense and goodness of the American people. Do not despair, work, and advocate for a return to American Freedom

Thank you, thank you, Nik, for finding the transcript. It’s now preserved for future use in my word processing program.
I assure you there are pull quotes in Rush’s speech that will spawn all manner of posts from me. I know that’ll make you happy, and hopefully, others who read and post here as well.

Advocacy for liberty makes any thinking person happy. The stark comparison he drew between freedom lovers not having to be forced to be so as opposed to collectivists’ wish to impose their vision by authoritarian government was memorable and reflective of our “Continental Divide” post
