February 19, 2009 – 9:15 amI saw it reported by a friend of the family on Facebook this morning that Joseph Putnam has been found and is in the embrace of his loving Mother. We will rely on our dear friend Mut for any final update. We want to thank everyone who has participated and helped by spreading the word, participating in the search and propagating the search information across the internet. You have blessed us and we thank you very much.

The last information I had is that there was a sighting and a confirmed location from a friend, and my brother and Joesph’s mom were on their way directly to that spot. I figured my dear brother would call when everything was settled. I will prepare a final update after I talk to my brother, again. Thanks for the update Nik — I really gotta get a Facebook page!
