Stop the Nanny Thief

Isn’t it funny how Uncle Sugar will “bail out” private companies?  The best line is from this FoxNews opinion on the Federal Behemoth giving other peoples’ money to the Fannie and Freddie psuedo-governmental publically held corporations.  The question, rightly asked is; “Should the government cover a private company’s losses during bad times, but let it keep its profits during good ones”?

All we are asking is for one of our readers or other interested party to explain or illustrate EXACTLY WHERE in the Constitution would such use of appropriated (confiscated from some of the citizenry) be enumerated.  Exactly please?

Those who don’t learn from history may be doomed to repeat it.

“A democracy can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves money from the public treasury”.  Wow!!  Good thing we are a republic huh?  Oh! Maybe not, looking at this issue.
